NFF FAQs
WHERE DO I PARK?
You can park at Yankee Doodle Garage at 10 Burnell Blvd or the Isaacs Street Lot at 23 Isaacs St. Pay by plate at the machine, or by app specified on signage. Be sure to check the hours.
WHAT TICKETS DO I NEED FOR WHAT?
Friday night’s feature LITTLE RICHARD: I AM EVERYTHING must be purchased through a separate vendor here. This is an intimate screening with the Director in attendance.
All events on Saturday and Sunday are purchased through our Eventbrite page here. A full festival pass allows for access to our Saturday and Sunday features, POWER BALLAD and BLOOM. You can also purchase a ticket for these events separately on the site. We recommend getting the full pass tickets: for a little more, you get a LOT more.
WHAT’S THE DEAL WITH PARTIES?
We have an Opening Night Party on Friday at Lot 48. This will include complimentary beer, wine, and light bites.
After-hours cocktails on Saturday at the Flying Scotsman (30 Main St) with discounts on their Old Fashioned and Bee’s Knees cocktails.
Closing Night Party on Sunday after the awards ceremony will have drinks and light bites. First round on us. All filmmakers and their guests are welcome. Location provided directly to filmmakers.
WHAT IF I PARTY TOO HARD?
There are several ways to get where you need to go if you can’t walk there. If you need a safe ride home or back to a hotel, Norwalk Transit has an app called Wheels 2 U that offers rides anywhere in town for $2/person. It is available until 11p on Friday, Midnight on Saturday, and 9p on Sunday.
Uber/Lyft are also options but sometimes you have to wait a little bit for a ride.
Local taxis:
Norwalk Taxi - (203) 855-1764
Norwalk Yellow Cab - (203) 853-1267
Please make smart decisions and use taxis or other transit to ensure you get home safely.

WHAT’S THE DEAL WITH THE WORKSHOPS?
Workshop registration and info is available here. Please register to ensure there’s a spot for you. Space is limited.
ARE THERE AWARDS?
Yes! Film block attendees will receive a ballot to vote for their favorite. The film with the most votes receives their respective block’s Audience Award.
CAN I SPEAK AFTER MY FILM?
Absolutely. Each block will have a short Q&A where filmmakers will get a chance to speak about their work.
WILL THE FESTIVAL HAVE A STREAMING OPTION?
No, sorry. We believe in the power of in-person attendance to share in each others’ creativity.
ARE THE LOCATIONS HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE?
