our mission
The Norwalk Film Festival's mission is to cultivate a connected, inclusive, and informed film community by providing resources for industry professionals and emerging filmmakers while creating opportunities for audiences to engage with And support the art of filmmaking.
The Norwalk Film Festival was founded by a grassroots group of filmmakers, community cultural leaders, and movie lovers living and working in Norwalk. The festival celebrates, and strives to amplify, emerging voices with diverse backgrounds through independent filmmaking. The goal of the volunteer-based NFF committee is to bring local communities together and stimulate conversations generated by the films.
